Our process for replacing missing AirPods involves booking in the AirPod parts you currently have. We will replace the part or order it if we don't have a replacement in stock.
Once the replacement part is installed, we will fully test the device to alert you to any unknown issues. If issues are found, we will inform you about what's required to resolve them and any associated costs. If your device has warranty coverage, we will go ahead and resolve the issues for you, so you don't have to worry about your device having problems.
