Before bringing your iPad in for service, it is highly recommended to back up your data if your device is still functional. This step is crucial because when you receive the replacement iPad, it will be a blank device without any of your data. However, as an authorised service provider, Apptech provides a data backup and restoration service for a fee of A$99. Our skilled team will handle the backup and restoration process, ensuring the safe transfer of your valuable data during the repair.

Software Solutions:

Please note that software issues are not covered under warranty. However, Apptech specialises in resolving software problems and offers a dedicated service to reset and resolve most software issues for a fee of A$60. Our experienced team can effectively troubleshoot and fix various software-related problems, ensuring your iPad functions as expected.

If your iPad is disabled and inaccessible, Apptech can assist with a complete reset for a fee of A$60. This service allows you to regain access to your device and start fresh. After the reset, you can restore from a backup if you have one available.

Battery Replacement:

If your iPad's battery is no longer functioning properly, Apple offers replacement iPads for a battery replacement fee. Please note that to be eligible for the battery whole unit replacement rate, there must be no other functional issue other than a failing or consumed battery. Physical damages are not included. If you have AppleCare+, the fee for battery replacement may be waived.

Out-of-warranty battery replacement fee - A$205

AppleCare+ battery replacement fee - A$0 (Please note that this rate requires a consumed or failing battery.)

Whole Unit Replacement:

If your iPad has hardware issues, it cannot be repaired and requires a complete unit replacement. Apple provides a convenient solution by offering a like-for-like replacement iPad for a fixed fee. If you have AppleCare+, this fee may be reduced. This service covers various issues, including power failure, cracked displays, and other functional problems. If your iPad is within the warranty period and there are no user-caused damages, the replacement iPad will be provided free of charge.

Wi-Fi and Cellular model - A$1,029

AppleCare+ whole unit replacement fee: A$65
